Short Courses

The School of Mining Engineering has, in conjunction with the South African mining industry, developed a comprehensive programme of postgraduate courses designed to cater for the needs of graduates.

Introduction to Mining Engineering Course 

2024 course dates 01 – 12 July 2024

The early bird rate for the July intake is R18,076.00, which expires on 31 Dec 2023.  After that date, the course fee will increase to R19,000.00 (2024 course fee).

Explosives Course

2024 Course dates 15 – 19 January 2024

The early bird rate is R18,076.00, which expires on 30 Nov 2023.  After that date, the course fee will increase to R19,000.00 (2024 course fee).
