PhD in Media Studies

A PhD is a long-term, intensive research degree, best suited to those with a strong interest in pursuing careers in academia or high-level policy and research. PhDs in Media Studies typically take at least three years and require discipline, commitment and hard work from the candidate. 

Admission to this programme is limited to students with a strong Media Studies background and an average score of 70% or a distinction for their Masters. We do consider candidates with Masters degrees in areas other than Media Studies, provided that there is existing training in the social sciences and humanities and a clear rationale for the interest in Media Studies. 雷速体育_雷速体育直播s can only be admitted after an admissions writing test has been written, and if there is an appropriate supervisor available.
